Walker Baptist Medical Center Appoints Suzanne Pugh as Chief Operating Officer

JASPER, Ala. – Walker Baptist Medical Center (WBMC) names Suzanne Pugh as its Chief Operating Officer. Pugh previously served as the hospital’s associate administrator and is an accomplished healthcare executive with a wealth of experience in managing hospital operations.
“With more than 20 years of proven and successful healthcare leadership, Suzanne is certainly deserving of this advancement,” said Walker Baptist Medical Center CEO, Mike Neuendorf. “Our team sees her daily passion and dedication, not only for Walker Baptist Medical Center, but for the betterment of Walker County and the surrounding communities as a whole.”

Suzanne has served in various roles at Walker Baptist and has been with the medical center for 18 years. She has been a tremendous asset to the team during the COVID-19 pandemic and will continue to play a vital role in daily hospital operations.
